INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE
Human beings are special creations in this wonderful world created by God. Among us humans, there are some people who are not ordinary but special, be it naturally or because of some accident. Due to this specialty, they have been given the name of 'Divyang'. In the introduction of the establishment of Divyag Utthan Foundation, it is worth mentioning that while doing the social service work of Lions Club Jaipur Prime Star, something happened in the state's first Divyag Parichay Sammelan held on 12th February 2017, which captured the mind. Unlike ordinary programmes, there was such an unprecedented peace in this program of the deaf and mute, which, despite their enthusiasm towards the programme, was hurting from the inside. In such a situation came the feeling that something special has to be done for this particular category. And this something special became the cornerstone of the 'Divyang Utthan Foundation', which started from providing a matrimonial introduction platform for the Divyangs of the country, and has also proposed various other schemes for their benefit, which will be implemented from time to time.
A web portal www.divyanghumsafar.com and an Android app divyanghumsafar have been created for the matrimonial introduction platform being provided at the beginning of Divyang Utthan Foundation. Through this web portal and Android app, Divyangs can select their life partner from the comfort of home. In this campaign, the Pranteeya Vishesh Shiksha Sewa Sangh, which is an organisation working for Divyangs, is special partner.
One of the features of the Foundation is that there is no bar on caste or religion. It is for the whole society, for everyone and everybody can benefit equally from it. Divyang Utthan Foundation has been established by the select volunteer charter members and senior members of Lions Club Jaipur Prime Star and has been registereded as a 'Non - Profit Company' under Section 8 of the Indian Companies Act 2013.
The basic objective of the establishment of the Divyang Utthan Foundation is that some work should be done in such a way that Divyangs can also lead a simple, healthy and successful life by becoming a part of the mainstream. With the efforts of this foundation, Divyangs across the country will be able to get a platform on which they can make their unique identity, be inspired and benefit.
